resolution of java applications for mobile phones?

I have set my eye on a mobile phone which I plan to purchase. The trouble is that the display size is 2.2″. It is built in the qwerty keyboard fashion. Kind of like a blackberry 8520. It is from a reputed brand. My problem is whether I would be able to download java applications to fit into that screen becuase all the java applications that come for those type of phones are built for 2.4″. In the specifications of the phone it says that java applications are supported. Please help me.

Java games dont have to do anything with screen size. They are made according to pixels like 128×160 ,176×176, 240×320 and so on where digits are pixels. Well your screen being 2.2″ would be a 240×320 one. And u can get max. games for that screen size.
