Will T-Mobile Charge Me For Using Apps On The iPhone?
Hey guys,
I currently have T-Mobile but I’ve just bought an unlocked/jailbroken iPhone 3Gs from a vendor. I downloading a bunch of free apps on the iTunes store. I was wondering if they will charge me for data or whatever for “using” these apps? I did turn on my wifi.
I’m relatively new to the iPhone so I wanted to ask here.

T-Mobile should not charge for the use of the app unless it connects to the internet (sends/receives data) via the T-Mobile network. So if you’re playing a game like doodle-jump, you wont be charged, but using Skype to call another Skype user, will cost you money, depending on your tariff.
If you’re connected to the T-Mobile network only (with no WiFi) whilst you download apps, you may be charged for the data required to download that app. If you want to use an app that needs to connect to the internet, connect to your wifi network, where the data costs are included in your monthly ISP bill – Hope this helped
