How can I remove Bell (or default carrier) settings/software from unlocked samsung omnia 2?

I just purchased an almost new samsung omnia 2 from someone. Since this model is only available through Bell in canada and I wanted to use it with Telus, I got it unlocked and now I’m using it with Telus. I want to find out how I can take out all Bell software and settings from the phone, leaving only Windows Mobile 6.5 and samung UI that the phone came with. For example, when I turn the phone on, a huge Bell logo comes up. Bell settings are also saved in most internet and youtube applications and I would like to take everything out. I am not sure if doing a hard reset or factory default will remove these as these phones come with Bell factory settings. A full reinstall of OS may be the only way but I’m not sure where to start.

You may be able to ‘flash’ the firmware back to factory settings so that all of the Bell stuff is gone. Try Googling “flashing samsung omnia 2″. Read plenty of webpages before you even attempt the procedure because there is no guarantee it will work and you may end up with a very expensive paperweight.
